We had an incredible time at the 2025 The Wicked Weekend in Gainesville, Georgia! The track was super fun and a joy to drive.
My XB8e was working well. Had strong pace and decent consistency in all 3 rounds of qualifying. The REDS RACING Z8 Pro ESC with REDS RACING V8 2200kv Gen 6 motor powered by Mach-1 USA 6800mah batteries secured me 5th overall
Qualifying was mixed for nitro buggy. I struggled in round one, but had a good 2nd and 3rd round. Qualifying 10th overall.
Ebuggy started strong with good pace, and I even took the lead! Unfortunately. I had a bearing failure in the rear diff that led to a DNF.
The nitro buggy main was a rollercoaster. A missed my marshal slot which left me starting a lap down—my sincere apologies to my sponsors; I’ll ensure it doesn’t happen again. I focused on conserving my JConcepts Inc Reflex (green) tires early, then pushed aggressively, climbing the field to secure a 4th place finish. The REDS RACING 721 Superveloce Pro-X engine, expertly tuned by EBMods and powered by NitroPro JTP fuel, ran flawlessly. The NitroPro servos performed reliably, never missing a beat.
A big thank you to my sponsors. Also thank you to Blake Alan Baker, and Roger Cowart for their parts support. Thank you to Lance MacDonald and Patrick Rossiter Jr. for their stellar announcing. Massive appreciation to RaceTime Entertainment for organizing such an incredible event!
